Upson Building Services is a well-established company based in Chilcompton, nr Bath, Somerset. We cover all aspects of building work from new build projects and large extensions to disability adaptations and general home improvements.
We pride ourselves in producing high quality work and never cut corners. We aim always to work with our clients to find the best possible solutions to their requirements. We employ highly skilled tradesmen from trades including bricklaying, carpentry, decorating, electrics, plastering, plumbing, roofing and all other associated skills.
We also supply building service contracts to local councils and perform all variety of social housing projects, educational building work and modifications. Based just south of Bath, we cover much of the South West and are within easy reach of Bristol.

MARTYN WILCOX
MANAGING DIRECTOR
Joined the company as a contracts manager in 1992 and became a director when the company was incorporated in 1997. Martyn has a background in carpentry and joinery.
ALISON WILCOX
Accounts DIRECTOR
Joined the company as an account director in 2005. Alison comes from a background in the banking sector.
CHRIS UPSON
After 30 years CHRIS has now retired but is still available for help and advice.
Chris founded Upson Building Services 30 years ago as a sole trader as a carpenter and joiner with experience of project and contract management with various organisations. The company grew very quickly after aquiring small to medium projects with Mendip District Council.
Numerous projects were carried out by outside consultants and architects and by building a good relationship and carry out a good standard of work they were keen to take the company on board and consequently we have and still are working with the like of Mendip Housing, Solon Housing Association Bristol, Somer Housing Bath, Knightstone Housing Association and the Diocese of Clifton, Bath and Wells.
